Experience Spirit-Filled Worship

Spirit filled worship at the Community Praise Church of Seventh-day Adventists has become a centerpiece of our cultural identity. We have assumed a vertical posture in worship believing that the more we focus on Jesus, and less on ourselves, the more of His transformative power we may experience. A trademark feature of our worship experience is the commitment to a relevant inter-generational liturgy that is authentically and unapologetically Adventist in its implementation. We have three worship services that provide transformative “God encounters” for a range of demographic needs.

The Well – The Well Sabbath service is designed for worshipers who prefer encountering God through a streamlined conservative liturgy complimented by traditional program elements. The Well Sabbath service begins at 9:15am each Sabbath morning and concludes at 11:00am.

The Refuge – The Refuge Sabbath service is designed for worshipers who prefer encountering God through a streamlined traditional / contemporary format including both praise and worship and traditional musical selections. This service best fits the needs of Christians searching for authentic discipleship in the midst of busy schedule and lives. The service begins at 12:00pm and concludes at 2:00pm.

Our Worship Ministries

The Communications Ministry uses various forms of media including online, print and photography to tell CPC’s story. This team works across all sectors to capture and promote church activities, and ensure consistent, cohesive messaging.

The media and broadcast teams at CPC have a primary goal of supporting worship, not only as it happens in the church building, but for our church members who are unable to join us in person.  In addition to this, the team works to present the stories of our community using the best media tools available.

CPC has a rich tradition of musical excellence in worship. From our choirs (Adult (Higher Calling), Youth Choir, Children’s Choir) to our praise teams, a sincere atmosphere is set each week as we sing the audible truth of who God is!  We often welcome guest musicians and artists  to further amplify the setting.

The arts also serve as worship augmentation whether in the form of our Drama Team or Ministry to the Little Lambs.

CPC’s Technology Team oversees the development, implementation, maintenance and use of technology to support church-wide. The team is responsible for information technology and telecommunication systems, and provides support and maintenance of existing technology and development of new technical solutions.

Our team of Ushers, Platform Managers and Audio Engineers/Audio Floor Managers are faithful stewards who serve in critical roles to ensure our commitment to excellence, effectiveness, order and timeliness in the execution of our Worship services are fulfilled seamlessly each and every week. They assist in setting the tone for worship and enabling worshippers to hear and respond to the Word of God whether spoken or rendered in song and the Word.
