National Institute of Mental Health Resource Page. Provides information on where to find help immediately when in crisis, as well as how to locate a mental health care provider for more ongoing treatment.

Anxiety and Depression Association of America. Offers free online peer support for depression, anxiety, and PTSD (some groups are Spanish speaking).
National Network of Depression Centers. Resource Link provides search engine for various mental disorders.
Maryland Coalition of Families (MCF). The first and only statewide nonprofit organization that offers family peer support to people and families who have a loved one experiencing mental health, substance use, or problem gambling challenges. Using their personal experience caring for their own loved one, our Family Peer Support Specialists offer emotional support, resource connection and systems navigation at no cost to those we help. We also advocate to improve services and systems that impact individuals with behavioral health challenges because these issues are important to our families and loved ones too.
Grief.com. Offers online resources, support groups, podcasts and workshops for those struggling with grief. Affiliated with expert in grief counseling, David Kessler.
North American Division Directory of Counselors. Allows individuals to select specific mental health concerns search for counselors who work in those areas. Allows search to be modified to only look for Seventh Day Adventist Counselors.
End It Now. End it Now is the SDA North American Division’s Women’s Ministries effort to bring more awareness and provide resources related to domestic violence. Under the “resource tab” individuals can find information related to local and national resources, free printable materials, anonymous reporting, abuse recovery and more.

National Child Traumatic Stress Network. Purpose is to raise the standard of care and improve access to services for traumatized children, their families and communities throughout the United States. Website provides resources and information.
