Experience The Great Commission

Share Jesus

Here at the Community Praise Church, we believe that the priority of a healthy, growing, Seventh-day Adventist congregation should be committed to fulfilling the gospel commission. Whether through public evangelism, our Sabbath morning worship services, or our Servolution initiatives, this congregation demonstrates a fervent commitment to the “go ye therefore” admonition of Jesus. We do not consider it our job….we consider it our joy to Share Jesus.

Share Jesus through preaching – Each year the Community Praise Church conducts a fall evangelism series in which we share the everlasting gospel of Jesus Christ in innovative, fresh, and compelling ways.

Share Jesus through worship – Every Sabbath morning, your hearts will be warmed as you experience warm fellowship, inspiring worship, and transformative discipleship moments at our 9:15am and 12:00pm services.

Share Jesus through service – Our Servolution initiative provides opportunities for each member of our congregation to transport the love of Jesus beyond our church walls. Many service opportunities are available such as hospital visitation, volunteer work at shelters, and partnering with local civic organizations.

Members of CPC’s Community Services are the hands and feet of Jesus ministering to the needs of those who surround us.  The purpose of this holistic ministry is not only to proclaim the Good News, but to demonstrate the love of God to people who are in need.

The Home & School Department exists to coordinate the activities of school, home, and the church. It is our philosophy that all members of CPC are co-stakeholders in education advancement, especially under biblical guidelines.

CPC Health Ministries is a team of health professionals and individuals interested in health and fitness dedicated to the wellness of others.  In the process of getting fit and well, we achieve our goal of following God’s word.   We believe our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit (1 Cor 6:19) and the healthier our bodies are, the more we will be able to hear and do the will of God.  Through various outreach initiatives centered on health and wellness, we hope to impact our community for Christ.

SWAT (Soul Winning Action Team) is a vital ministry Meade up of elders and other members trained to respond to our community with a message of hope and a love for Christ reflected in them.  This team is prepared to give bible studies, pray with and for souls in despair, and to answer questions from God’s word.

Prison Ministry is our frontline ministry to our brothers and sisters who are incarcerated. Members of this ministry visit selected prisons to lead in worship, Bible study and lending spiritual guidance.

The Religious Liberty ministry is committed to promoting freedom of belief for all people through education, communication, connection with the community, and discipleship.

We are committed to letting our deeds and good works show the love that exists in CPC by reaching the community with the loving hands of Christ. Whether you are someone passionate about meeting the critical needs of the community, or a CPC ministry leader wanting to coordinate a Community Service Meetup, we are here to support you through the entire process of coordinating and running your community service events.

The CPC Stewardship Ministry aims to acknowledge God’s ownership by encouraging proper stewardship of our bodies, our abilities, our time, our material possessions and the Earth. Faithful stewardship of God’s resources promises a personal blessing, a blessing to others, and a blessing to the Church.

Just as worship at CPC nourishes your spiritual needs, the weekly visitors lunch reflects the heartfelt way we honor Christ in how we value our guests. These teams provide appetizing vegetarian meals and deliberate relationship building conversations to help each visitor to immediately feel at home.
