SWAT
SWAT (Soul Winning Action Team) is a vital ministry made up of elders and other members trained to respond to our community with a message of hope and a love for Christ reflected in them. This team is prepared to give bible studies, pray with and for souls in despair, and to answer questions from God’s word.

Carpenter's Shelter Dinner Service

FAITH IN ACTION: Serve a delicious meal to our brothers and sisters inside the homeless shelter. Masks are optional.
WHERE: Carpenter's Shelter, 930 N Henry St, Alexandria, VA 22314
WHEN:  4th Sunday of the Month
TIME: 6:15AM (breakfast service) or 5:45PM (dinner service)

Age Guidelines: Volunteers must be 18+.

ALIVE! Food Distribution

FAITH IN ACTION: Help ALIVE! distribute grocery bags, produce, and eggs to families in our community.
WHERE:  Location varies
WHEN:  4th Saturday of the Month
TIME: 7:30AM-11:00AM

Note: Volunteers should be prepared for light lifting and a mix of indoor/outdoor service. Closed-toe shoes required.
Age Guidelines: Youth ages 12+ may serve with a chaperone.

CPC’S PRISON MINISTRY is looking for compassionate men and women ready to make a meaningful impact. If you have a heart for those who are incarcerated, this is a powerful opportunity to serve.
 
There are three ways to get involved:
• Join monthly worship services at Jessup Correctional Institution
• Support children of inmates through the Angel Tree program
• Encourage inmates through letter writing

Rainforest Falls

Get ready for the adventure of the summer! From July 20–23, step through the mist into a world of wild waterfalls, towering trees, and colorful creatures. At this year’s Vacation Bible School, children will embark on an unforgettable journey to discover the nature of God and what it means to be rooted in Him as their Creator, guide, and safe place in life’s storms.

Kids will enjoy:
• Creative crafts
• Fun snacks
• Engaging skits
• Inspiring music
• Games and activities
• An immersive rainforest experience

Rainforest Falls is more than a VBS program—it’s four days of faith, friendship, fun, and discovery. We can’t wait to see you there!
